  We've been "regulars" at Charlotte's Web for years. This is truly our "neighborhood place" even though we lived in Randolph when we started going there 20+ years ago, and now we live in Sparta. This place is great for business lunches with fast attentive service and great mid-day specials, special family gatherings (get your reservation for Thanksgiving EARLY), and dinner on special and ordinary occasions too. We occasionally get catering items from them too and nothing we've ever had disappointed us. They've had the same chef for 30+ years. This place is a gem in central Morris County. Don't miss it!

  The website is a lie. I was expecting an upscale feel with some good dishes like they show on their website. Not at all like that. I knew instantly when I opened the door that I had been bamboozled. The restaurant is for one in a horrible location, I don't think it's been updated since it's opening which, by the look of it was in the 1970s. Not only that it was dirty. My wife and I talked about how our hand stuck to the door when we held it open and left a sticky film on our hands. Mind you we both held it open at different spots on the door and didn't use the handle. The inside was drab and gloomy. It made me feel like I was in a movie theater, I could barely see where I was going. Now on to the food... I was with a big party and we each had something different. I had the red snapper with other sea food and my wife had the calamari over linguine. My snapper was most definitely frozen and same goes for the scallops. They tasted freezer burnt and the sauce on it was like water. My wife's dish was in a huge puddle too and looked like something out of a hospital horror movie. Not only was the food bad, but their prices are astronomical. If I'm going to pay upscale prices, I better get a great atmosphere and amazing food. Super disappointed in this place. I am not a hard person to please and never really write bad reviews like this but I just don't want anyone else to get taken advantage of like we did. I seriously felt like I was on Kitchen Nightmares with Chef Ramsay.
